ToRCHI schedules meetings to discuss and exchange ideas about human computer interaction and user interface design. Presenters use state-of-the-art tools and technologies to create and apply their own research findings.
Seminars are typically at 7:00pm in the second or third week of every month at various locations. The format of usually consists of refreshment time; presentations by invited guest speakers or discussion groups, followed by question periods, and open discussions.
Workshops are run on weekdays between 9:00AM and 5:00PM and cover a wide range of topics. Registration fee from workshops help subsidize the monthly meetings and pay for web hosting services.
Books and magazines are available for members to borrow for as long as no one else requests the same item.
